Greetings to you all and a great big welcome to Issue 45. The FREE gift this issue is not only beautiful, but is also very usable. It makes a fabulous focal point on a card and it also does the job of adding a sentiment. It is so versatile too, snip away the flourishes if you want something a little plainer and don’t forget to use the flourishes as well. We think this die will become one of the favourites and we have eight lovely and very different projects for you to try
There is a definite summery feeling to this issue, but we do like to throw a curve ball in from time to time! So we have the Spun Sugar Frame together with the Lush Lilies, Fancy Flora and Lavish Floral, making four gorgeous cards in bright and breezy summertime colours and the Garden of Joy, together with the cheeky Washday Tapestry. Then comes the curve ball in the shape of the Winter Bride, all icy and snowy and absolutely beautiful. Stunning projects from all of them, we love the elegance of the Spun Sugar and Winter Bride projects, and we love the lazy, hazy summertime projects from the Garden of Joy. In fact, they are all mantelpiece pleasers!
We mentioned Washday Tapestry earlier, this is a really cute die! This will be perfect for so many events and it is high on the "Snipability Scale". One of our favourite projects is "Bath Time" where the characters have been snipped out and the bunnies are in the wash tub. As usual you can expect to see the fabulous free papers in the centre of the magazine, so all you need to do is take the die away from the cover, take out the papers and start crafting!
