Introducing The Slice by Making Memories
The Slice is a NEW digital Die Cut machine. It was
originally invented by a company called Tinnus, but they did not have the money
to fund the manufacturing. Making Memories has been licensed to produce
this wonderful little machine. They are due in July.

The machine shown in the video is a prototype, but the
ACTUAL machine works exactly the same. I was lucky enough to play with it
at CHA and it is wonderful.
Here are the features:
-PORTABLE:
Fits in the palm of your hand (measures 5” square and weighs about 2
lbs)
Runs on rechargeable battery or can be plugged in (about 1 hour
cutting time on battery)
Cartridges are very small (SD cards)
-EASY TO USE:
Scroll through shapes on the large screen
Select shapes with the push of a button
-VERSATILE:
Each shape can be cut from ½” to 4” in ½” increments
Cuts cardstock, paper, vellum and photos
Cuts anywhere you want on the paper (you position the machine right where
you want – so you can use scraps!!)
Eventually, there will be software available to create your own SD cards...
but that will be a future item not available now.
